Teaching Interests
Teaching residents and medical students foundational skills for caring for complex pediatric patients. Developing confidence in coordinating complex medical needs. Educating students on the importance of team work, including the family as part of the team. Teaching about disparities affecting children with complex needs. Sharing lessons learned from Hurricane Helene in teaching emergency planning for families with tech dependent children.

Research Interests
Studying the impact of inter-disciplinary clinics on outcomes of those with complex medical needs. Evaluating models of coordinated care to make caring for those with complex medical needs as easy as possible for families. Developing disaster readiness frameworks for families with technology dependent children. Researching equity gaps in preparedness. Preventing ED visits and readmissions for children with complex conditions.
