Teaching Interests
I am interested in teaching a broad range of undergraduate and graduate courses in mathematics and applied mathematics, including both foundational and computational subjects. In particular, I enjoy courses that connect core topics with numerical methods and real-world applications, and I also enjoy supervising undergraduate and graduate research projects. Courses I have taught include Calculus and Analytical Geometry I & II, Differential Equations, Linear Algebra, Numerical Analysis, Numerical Partial Differential Equations, Engineering Mathematics, Beginning Scientific Computing, Numerical Linear Algebra, and mentoring Undergraduate Research.

Research Interests
My research interests lie in numerical analysis, scientific computing, and scientific machine learning. In particular, I am interested in the development and analysis of efficient numerical algorithms for physics-based partial differential equation models and related inverse problems. I am also interested in bringing machine learning and deep learning methods to mathematical and physics-based modeling, as well as to problems in social sciences. In addition, I have experience applying mathematical tools to problems in medical imaging.
