Bio

Darra Ballance, MLIS, AHIP, is the Director of Retention Programming and Technology for the Statewide Area Health Education Centers Network at Augusta University (AU). She is also a faculty member in the Robert B. Greenblatt, MD Library at AU, with the rank of Assistant Professor. At the AHEC her work has focused on retention of health professionals in rural and underserved areas. She also serves as a liaison to AU’s Institute of Public and Preventive health, and teaches evidence-based practice and information literacy to faculty, students and clinical staff.
