The Division of Developmental-Behavioral Pediatrics provides consultation for infants, children, and adolescents with a range of neurodevelopmental disabilities, including academic underachievement, attention/deficit-hyperactivity disorder, autism spectrum disorder, intellectual disability, learning disabilities, and chronic medical conditions with associated developmental-behavioral concerns.

Our strengths based clinical approach is focused on helping families understand:

  1. The complex development of infants, children, and adolescents, and how this fits into their environment
  2. The influences of biological, psychological, and social factors on development and behavior
  3. Evidence-based prevention and/or treatments, working closely as a consultant to the child’s medical home.

We have interdisciplinary training with medical students, pediatric residents, psychology interns and postdoctoral fellows. Our division is comprised of a Developmental-Behavioral Pediatrician and Pediatric Clinical Psychologist.
