Promotion & Tenure

The CAHS faculty views promotion and tenure as important safeguards of academic accountability and quality in higher education.

Promotion and tenure ensure that the institution’s academic mission will be guided by professionals who possess a deep and lasting commitment to collectively shape institutional decisions through their actions in departments, colleges, or the institution as a whole. Please refer to the Augusta University Promotion and Tenure Process for CAHS Guidelines and Calendar.

Curriculum Approval Process

College of Allied Health Sciences faculty develop, propose, and approve curricula for academic programs within the college.
