Henry Moon, PhD

We are pleased to recognize Henry Moon, PhD, who was selected as a finalist for the 2025 Southern Group on Educational Affairs (SGEA) Medical Education Scholarship Award (MESA). The finalist submission, “Empowering Residents as Educators Through Scenario-Driven Micro-eLearning,” was the result of a collaborative effort by Dr. Henry Moon (Educational Innovation Institute), Dr. Ralph Gillies (Family Medicine), Anusha Aiyar (third-year medical student), and Dr. Michelle Krupp (Faculty Development and Support).

Their work was selected from more than 30 applications and advanced through a rigorous peer-review process for presentation at the annual SGEA meeting. This innovative project will also be featured at the AAMC 2025 conference in San Antonio, further highlighting its scholarly merit and educational significance.

This recognition underscores the team’s collective commitment to advancing innovation and excellence in medical education scholarship.
