Their funded project, “Automated Generation and Evaluation of Clinical Case-Based Multiple-Choice Questions Using Biomedical Ontologies and Transformer Models” reflects continued commitment to interdisciplinary scholarship, innovation in teaching and learning, and the advancement of academic medicine through strategic collaboration.

The Educational Innovation Institute (EII) congratulates Brittany Ange, Ed.D on her appointment as Assistant Dean for Dual Degrees and Student Research.
As an outstanding mentor and leader, Dr. Ange has played a vital role in expanding student research opportunities and building a supportive, student-centered program at MCG. Her commitment to mentorship, collaboration, and academic excellence continues to make a meaningful impact on our students and community.
We're excited to see how she will continue to strengthen these programs in her new role.

The MCG Office for Faculty Development (Educational Innovation Institute) is pleased to announce the re-institution of the Medical Education Grand Rounds, a premier academic forum designed to showcase cutting-edge innovations in research and curriculum while fostering interdisciplinary collaboration to advance excellence in teaching and learning across the Medical College of Georgia.
Our inaugural session, hosted in collaboration with the Department of Pediatrics, will take place on March 13, 2026. This distinguished series is tailored for faculty, administrative leaders, physicians, fellows, and residents, with CME credits available.
