My teaching is grounded in a student-centered approach that values transparency, engagement, and the cultivation of academic self-efficacy. I use evidence-based teaching strategies such as the TILT framework, reflective practices, and low-stakes formative assessments to foster meaningful learning and support student well-being. My research focus is on mindfulness meditation in higher education, with particular interest in how an app-based mindfulness practice can positively influence students’ affective states and academic self-efficacy.
