My teaching interest includes, helping develop students’ clinical judgment, confidence, and professional identity. I am particularly interested in creating inclusive, interactive learning environments that connect evidence-based practice with real-world patient care. My goal is to cultivate safe, competent, and compassionate future nurses.
My primary research interests involve strengthening nursing education through innovative teaching strategies, NGN readiness, and improved clinical judgment outcomes among pre-licensure students. I am passionate about examining how simulation, active learning, and decision-support tools enhance competence and confidence in nursing students. As DNP faculty, I aim to contribute practice-based evidence that elevates curriculum quality and workforce preparation.
