Teaching Interests

My teaching philosophy is to both educate and inspire my students. While educating our youth and providing the tools to be successful are very important in academia, I often feel it is drive and passion that supersede basic knowledge. That is why I aspire to instill passion in the classroom that can be carried with students regardless of their area of expertise. I consider it a privilege to help students learn and overcome obstacles both inside and outside the classroom. While I find the study of kinesiology to be fascinating, I aim to not only provide the skills and information necessary to excel in each course, but to teach lessons that will be remembered well beyond essays and examinations.
