I began my career in Seoul Korea as a preschool teacher in 1998. I had the pleasure of teaching first and third grade in Texas, and first through fourth grade in Georgia. I finished my elementary career as an Instructional Specialist in 2023. I enjoyed my five years in this capacity as it allowed me to work with all teachers analyzing test scores, differentiating instruction, and improving their effectiveness and the quality of their students' education. I mentored new teachers and acted as a role model using my classroom experience and research knowledge to help teachers stay current and use best practices. I have been an adjunct professor since 2023.
