Psychiatry Services


Services:

Psychiatric services and referrals are available through Augusta University Student Health to evaluate and treat mental health disorders including:

  • Depressive Disorders
  • Anxiety Disorders
  • Bipolar Disorders
  • Psychotic Disorders
  • Obsessive-Compulsive Disorder (OCD)
  • Trauma Related Disorders
  • Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD)*

 

Appointments are available by calling Student Health at 706-721-3448.

 

*Medication for ADHD:

Student health clinicians may continue stimulant treatment for students who can show documentation of ADHD diagnosis.  Prior medical records and/or a Neuropsychological assessment is required.  Neuropsychological assessments are only done in the community.  Please reach out to Student Health or Testing and Disability Services for a list of resources.
