What We Offer

Acute Injury/Illness Appointments

Students who have acute symptoms of illness or injury will need to call and be triaged by our nurse. Based on symptom severity, the nurse will make an appointment for you to see a medical provider based on availability. For acute illnesses, there are a limited number of same-day appointments available. If you think you may need a same-day appointment, we encourage you to call our clinic as early as possible as these appointments fill up fast.

Non-acute Appointments

Most non-acute appointments can be scheduled within 2 weeks.

Walk-in Services

No appointment is required for TB skin testing, immunizations, and laboratory testing. TB testing is available every day except Thursdays since students must return in 48-72 hours to have the results read by one of our nurses. Students must present valid student identification prior to being seen at the Student Health Clinic.

Mental Health Appointments

To make an appointment to meet with a psychiatrist, please give us a call.

Telehealth

Student Health has clinical providers available for telehealth consults. Students can schedule medical and psychiatric appointments, discuss health concerns, and refill medications.

Call us at 706-721-3448 for an appointment.

HealthiestYouTM

HealthiestYouTM (by Teladoc) is a telemedicine service offered to Augusta University students by United Healthcare. There are no consultation fees for students with an Augusta University Student Health Insurance Plan and a small fee for students who use their private insurance.

Call 1-855-870-5858 24/7 to speak to board certified physician. *
