Simultaneous Membership Program
With Simultaneous Membership Program (SMP), you can participate in both the National Guard and complete your degree at Augusta University simultaneously. Through this program, you'll pair with a unit officer, who will mentor you. You will have a job and get paid to drill once a month with your Guard unit. There are more benefits to the program including but not limited to:
- 100% tuition coverage with the Guaranteed Reserve Forces Duty Scholarships
- Cash bonus based on your Military Occupational Specialty (MOS)
- Monthly allowance, depending on your grade level
- Additional financial support through the Montgomery GI Bill® and Guard Kicker
Upon graduation from Augusta University, you will receive your commission as a second lieutenant and serve in the National Guard or the Army.
