Ms. Grace Welsh is from Evans, GA and graduated from Augusta University in May of 2019 with a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science and International Studies. Currently, Ms. Welsh serves as the Communications & Enrollment Specialist for the Department of Military Science as of 11 November 2021.
During her studies, Ms. Welsh was an active member of the Honors Program and served in various roles ranging from Social Committee Member to President her Senior year. She presented her Honors Research Thesis and upper-level research at various conferences including TechNet in Augusta. Ms. Welsh was also a founding member and Inaugural President of the Pamplin Ambassadors. Her final accomplishment was being the first student to sing the National Anthem at the Commencement Exercises. Since then, students from each graduating class have been able to do the same.
After graduating, Ms. Welsh was a private research consultant for Chase Cyber, Inc. In this role, she aided Brigadier General (Ret) Welton Chase in background analysis and evaluations on various companies and the capabilities.
In March of 2020, she returned to Augusta University in the capacity of an Admissions Counselor with the Office of Academic Admissions. Ms. Welsh was responsible for recruiting high school students in 73 Georgia counties and the main point of contact for The Graduate School applicants. During her time in Admissions, Ms. Welsh began her Master in Public Administration and is slated to earn that degree in Spring of 2023.
Ms. Welsh an Augusta native and a cat mom to Darcy Anne and Sir Hawthorne Louis, the Duke of Waterston.
