New students admitted to Augusta University who are identified as freshman or sophomores
will receive their first semester's schedule from their Academic Advisor.
Outlined below is the process that new students will complete before receiving their
first semester schedule.
Continuing Student Registration Dual Enrollment Student Registration
Apply for undergraduate admission to Augusta University.
Once accepted, access your admissions portal and complete your admissions requirements via the checklist process.
Complete the Online Welcome and sign up for New Student Orientation in your online application portal.
Be as detailed as possible when completing your survey. If you have courses currently in-progress and are planning to take courses during the summer at another institution, your Academic Advisor needs to know the specific courses you plan to take so that you receive an accurate fall schedule.
Ensure that your most recent transcripts have been sent to the Augusta University Office of Admissions.
Ensure all holds, especially the Lawful Presence Verification (LP) hold are addressed prior to registration. Students can satisfy the LP hold by submitting proof of lawful presence (for example, a driver's license) to the Admissions Office. Visit the holds information page for hold descriptions and how to resolve them.
Once your schedule has been created, your Academic Advisor will send a welcome email to your augusta.edu email confirming that your schedule is available for review.
Students will continue to work with their Academic Advisor to make adjustments to their first semester schedule as necessary.
