Welcome! So you want to mentor an undergraduate student in research and scholarly activities? You've come to the right place!
Faculty, Postdocs, and doctoral students at AU may register their research project with CURS to recruit undergraduate research mentees. After completing the Registration Form, your project will be added to our Undergraduate Research Opportunity Portal (UROP) where students can review and find your project. This allows students to learn about the research project goals and the qualifications and/or tasks you require. Please know that most students have very limited experience in this environment, but have a willingness to learn and be guided. CURS will also assist in recommending students to this project as well as screen those who are interested. If you would like us to screen students for you, please reach out to CURS@augusta.edu.
