Center for Outdoor Recreation & Education

Welcome to Augusta University's Outdoor Recreation program! Our mission is to provide diverse, high-quality programming that fosters leadership, social development, and lifelong wellness within the Augusta University community. All Outdoor Recreation programs are designed to develop and inspire students while promoting conservation and stewardship of the outdoors. We are dedicated to student growth and empowerment through experiential learning opportunities and collaborative partnerships with academic programs, student organizations, and other university resources.  

Our Center for Outdoor Recreation and Education (The CORE) is equipped with a wide array of gear, including bikes, kayaks, and camping equipment, to support your outdoor activities. Additionally, our facility features a climbing tower and a challenge course, providing ample opportunities for adventure and skill-building. We also offer guided trips, workshops, and events for all skill levels, led by our experienced staff who are dedicated to helping you make the most of your outdoor experiences.
