Wilderness Medicine Fellowship Application Process

We are glad you are interested in our program at the Medical College of Georgia at Augusta University and believe that you will find our program to be a unique and robust training opportunity.

Wilderness Medicine Day

Requirements for consideration:

  • Eligible for Georgia Licensure
  • Board certified/board eligible ABEM or AOBEM and/or
  • Must have completed an accredited Residency Program in Emergency Medicine

We welcome you to apply for our program.  To do so, please submit the following listing of documents to thaston@augusta.edu by no later than September 1st. 

  • CV
  • Personal Statement
  • 3 Letters of Recommendation

With receipt of your application, we will review it thoroughly and will provide additional information in time as to next steps.  Interviews will be scheduled for October as necessary.  We know that this is a unique and potentially challenging process.  Please advise if you have any questions or need assistance.
