The Division of Environmental Health & Safety (EHS) partners with Augusta University to promote safety services that support the clinical, teaching, and research missions on campus.
We are responsible for a campus-wide effort to ensure Augusta University complies with local, state, and federal health and safety rules and regulations to provide a safe environment for work, study, research, and patient care. Environmental Health & Safety responds to emergencies on the Augusta University campus involving hazardous chemical, biological and radioactive materials, fires, and threats to the environment. If there is a workplace injury, EHS needs to be notified. To report an emergency during normal business hours call: 706-721-2663.
