The Physiology, Exercise, Diet, And Locomotion Laboratory (PEDAL) was established to tackle research projects involving training methodologies, equipment, and diet's effects on mechanics and exercise performance.
Much of the laboratory's focus is on the role these variables play in endurance athletic performance, but student projects have explored anaerobic or resistance exercise as well. Intramural and extramural grant funding has allowed a group of students under Dr. Meyers to explore a wide variety of topics with researchers all over the globe.
