Hi, I’m Jennifer! I was born and raised in Beirut, Lebanon and had lived there all my life until I moved to Augusta. I obtained my MD from the University of Balamand and completed three years of Psychiatry residency in Lebanon at the Saint George University Medical Center before matching into this program. Deep down I always knew I wanted to be a psychiatrist, and I just cannot imagine doing anything else. I am especially interested in Schizophrenia, Child and Adolescent Psychiatry, and Forensics. In my free time you’ll find me laughing in some corner with friends, chasing sunsets, and journaling.

Hello! My name is Cody Carrell, I grew up in Monroe, GA. I spent a lot of time around animals on my dad's farm and at my mom's vet practice, so I credit animals for teaching me to read behavior from an early age. I graduated from Mercer University with a degree in Biochemistry and Molecular Biology with some very fun minors in History and Psychology. I continued on to Mercer University School of Medicine and fell in love with psychiatry during my rotations at the Bradley Center in Columbus, GA. Outside of work, I enjoy absolutely spoiling my dogs Bindi and Nala, reading when I can find the motivation, and traveling when I can find the time. I have broad interests within psychiatry, but however I end up practicing, it'll be in Georgia.

Hello everyone! My name is Edil Nour, and I am a first-generation Somali-American, born in Atlanta and raised in Lawrenceville, Georgia. I graduated from Georgia Gwinnett College with a Bachelor’s degree in Biochemistry in 2018, marking me as the first college graduate in my family. Following this, I pursued my medical education at the Medical College of Georgia, where I accelerated through the Peach State Scholar Program, completing my medical degree in just three years.

Currently, my professional interests lie in child and adolescent psychiatry, forensics, and addictions. Mental health advocacy is particularly close to my heart, and I am eager to embark on my residency training, with the aspiration of serving the underserved communities of Georgia and ultimately establishing a practice in Somalia that prioritizes holistic mental well-being.

In my leisure time, I indulge in reading, writing, binge-watching shows on Netflix, spending quality time with friends and family, and catching up on much-needed sleep.

I am interested in general psychiatry and CAP.  I enjoy hiking, gaming, working out, cooking, trying new food, and drawing! I’ve documented my art journey on my Instagram page, @drawn2therapy, and I’ve published a self-illustrated children's book about a young tiger cub battling depression.
