Faculty physicians are engaged and passionate and provide residents and students with the quality of teaching and guidance that creates innovative leaders and empowers the patients and families for which they provide care.

The Division of General Pediatric and Adolescent Medicine believes that access to healthcare is critical and has community based practices in downtown Augusta, West Augusta, Grovetown and Aiken, SC. This community experience allows learners to hone their primary care practice skills by immersion in all facets of community pediatric care and provides an intimate learning environment with greater learner autonomy and individualized teaching.

Students and residents have exposure to a variety of pediatric specialties, including allergy/immunology, cardiology, endocrinology, gastroenterology, genetics, hematology/oncology, infectious disease, nephrology, pulmonology, rheumatology, child abuse and neglect, and surgery subspecialists.
