Bio

Dr. Yunchao Su received his M.D. degree in 1985 and a Ph.D. in Pathophysiology in 1991 from the Tongji Medical College, Huazhong University of Science and Technology in China. He completed postdoctoral training at the Wellcome Pharmaceutical Research Laboratories in UK where he studied under Dr. Salvador Moncada and in the Department of Medicine at the University of Florida in USA where he worked with Dr. Edward R. Block. Dr. Su joined the faculty as an Assistant Professor in 1999 and became an Associate Professor in 2005 in the Department of Medicine at the University of Florida in USA. Currently, he is a tenured Professor in the Department of Pharmacology and Toxicology at the Medical College of Georgia of Augusta University, Augusta, GA, USA.
