Medical College of Georgia
Department of Medicine: General Internal Medicine
Originally from North Carolina, I attended Duke University where I obtained my BA in History in 1990. I received my degree in Medicine with Distinction at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill in 1994 and my residency training at the University of Virginia in Charlottesville, VA in 1997. I moved to Georgia in 1997 where I have practiced general internal medicine in Peachtree City, GA followed by Emory University Student Health in Atlanta, before moving to Athens in 2003. I have been teaching with the AU/UGA Medical Partnership since its inception in 2010 and currently serve as the Campus Director of Clinical Skills. Additionally, I serve as faculty for the St. Mary's Internal Medicine Residency program in the Community Internal Medicine Associates clinic.
I enjoy interacting with learners of all levels.
