Bio
Dr. Byrd, a native of Lexington, SC, attended the University of South Carolina for his undergraduate education, graduating with Honors from the Honors College and a member of Phi Beta Kappa. He then attended the Medical University of South Carolina, where he was elected to Alpha Omega Alpha and received the Henry Tracy Ivy Award. He then completed his residency training in Otolaryngology-Head and Neck Surgery at MUSC before pursuing a 2-year fellowship at the University of Pittsburgh in Head and Neck Oncology and Skull Base surgery.
