As a neonatologist and physician-scientist, I have several areas of interest related to retinopathy of prematurity, early life growth and nutrition, and cardiovascular diseases.

Teaching Interests

I am keenly interested in medical student, resident, and fellow education and have developed curriculum to teach neonatal physiology, research study design, biostatistics, and professional development. As a member of the College of Graduate Studies, I am also interested in the education of undergraduate, graduate, and post-doctoral research fellows and currently serve as a thesis mentor for graduate students in the Vascular Biology Center
