Center for Innovation and Community Engagement
The Center for Innovation and Community Engagement (CICE) is an educational research
center housed within the Augusta University College of Education.
The central focus of the center is to support K-12 education through viable research
studies in order to better serve high minority, rural population of East Central Georgia.
While the Center will work with all innovative initiatives, the four tenants of the
Center are:
- Supporting literacy
- Creating a hub for STEAM
- Providing educator training
- Conducting and implementing educational research in order to serve student growth
and other projects that effect the pre k-12 system
CICE manages the Instructional Resource Center and the Literacy Center. In addition, CICE hosts Kids University, and various grant-supported projects and
