MCG Office of Continuing Medical Education

The Medical College of Georgia provides a comprehensive range of Continuing Medical Education (CME) services designed to support healthcare professionals. This includes resourceful assistance in locating upcoming educational events, guidance on how to claim CME credits, and strategic planning for various medical conferences.

As the founding school of Augusta University, the Medical College of Georgia proudly holds the distinction of being the state’s premier institution for training physicians. It graduates the largest number of medical professionals across the four medical schools in Georgia, contributing significantly to the healthcare workforce and addressing the needs of patients throughout the region.

About 50 percent of our graduates remain in the state to practice, well above the average retention rate of 39 percent. In fact, 1 in 5 physicians in Georgia graduated from or completed their residency at MCG.

How do I log in to the MCG CloudCME Portal?

Click on the Sign-In option in the navigation bar on the top left of the MCG CloudCME homepage. From the sign in pop-out, choose the left side sign-in for AU Users and the right side sign-in for ALL OTHERS Users. For AU Users, your Username is your AU email address MINUS @augusta.edu and your password is the same one you use for all AU Apps (i.e., Outlook, etc.). For ALL OTHER Users, your Username is your entire email address and your password is the one selected when creating your MCG CloudCME account.

Forgot Your Password: ALL OTHER Users, please click Sign-In, click Sign in with your Email and Password, and click Forgot Your Password to reset your password. You will receive an email with a link to reset your password.

Creating a new user profile with a new email is highly discouraged if you have attended any of our events in the past. This action most likely will create a duplicate profile for you in our system and it will NOT show your previously claimed credits history on your transcript automatically.

If you are a previous AU User and no longer have access to your AU email, please email the MCG CME Office at CME_MCG@augusta.edu and we can change your email address in the system.

Locked out of the MCG CloudCME Portal:  After a certain number of failed attempts to login, your account will be locked.  A MCG CME team member can unlock your account for you.  Please email us at CME_MCG@augusta.edu for assistance.

How do I access my transcript & certificates?

Once you are logged into the MCG CloudCME Portal, click on MY CME button on the top right on the navigation bar and select Transcript icon. Select a date range for the transcript records you wish to access by entering in a Start and End Date. You can email or download your transcript. CloudCME was implemented on 6/1/2020. All previous CME records are located in CME Tracker. The MCG CME Office no longer has access to records in CME Tracker. Certificates are located by clicking MY CME and clicking Evaluations and Certificates.

NOTE: All Conferences have a post-conference evaluation that must be completed to be awarded CME credits. You will not see a certificate or CME credits on your transcript until the post-conference evaluation is complete.

Transcripts can be downloaded or emailed using the buttons that appear above the transcript report.

If you feel your CME transcript is incomplete or missing credits, please send us an email at CME_MCG@augusta.edu.  MCG CME Office policy states “Retroactive Continuing Medical Education (CME) credits will only be granted under special circumstances and must be requested within thirty (30) days of the activity for which attendance was not recorded. It is the responsibility of the attendee, or their administrative assistant, to provide the Office for Continuing Medical Education with the date, name of the activity, and activity code to request any missing CME credits. Special circumstances may include but are not limited to, new faculty members within their first six months of employment. The decision to grant retroactive credits is at the discretion of the CME Office.”

Credits claimed using the text-based process show up immediately text if there was no evaluation associated with the activity.

How do I access my registrations & receipts?

Once you are logged into the MCG CloudCME Portal, click on MY CME button in the navigation bar on the top right and select Registrations & Receipts option to view all the activities you have registered for.

For activities with payments, click the Receipt button to view receipt details for including payment information. Receipts can be emailed; enter the email address where you wish to email your receipt and click the Send button.

How to check-in using SMS texting:

Via text message – A distinct activity code will be provided at the start of each activity by the Activity Coordinator for the Host Department.

If this is the first time you are texting your attendance, you must first pair your mobile number to your account.  Text your email address to (833)-765-0126 to opt-in to the text message attendance program.  You will receive a text notification indicating your phone number has been updated.

Once your account is paired to your mobile number and you have obtained the activity code, send the code via text to: (833)-765-0126.

For recording Live Stream activities, attendees will receive a code via email.

NOTE: Attendance can only be recorded 1 hour prior to the activity start time, during the activity and up to 5 days after the activity closes (14 days for conferences).

CloudCME Mobile App – in your App Store search for the CloudCME® mobile app and download to your Apple or Android device(s). This app also features mobile access to your transcripts, access to the calendar of events, and many other exciting features!
