The Center for Blood Disorders provides comprehensive care services for the treatment of bleeding and clotting disorders and sickle cell disease.

Our physicians, nurses and social workers are available to provide personalized care for those with:

  • Sickle Cell Disease
  • Bleeding disorders (such as hemophilia, von Willebrand disease, platelet function disorders, Storage Pool Disease, and other inherited bleeding disorders)
  • Clotting disorders (such as Deep Vein Thrombosis, Pulmonary Embolism, Protein C / S deficiency, Factor V-Leiden mutation, and other inherited clotting disorders)

We are affiliated with the Medical College of Georgia at Augusta University.
