We are strengthening the transfer pathways for Georgia's technical colleges and Augusta University's School of Computer and Cyber Sciences.
Augusta University ranks among the top 5% of U.S. universities in the new economic mobility index.
The collaboration between the Technical College System of Georgia and Augusta University will allow a strong pipeline of college graduates ready to contribute to the Cyber workforce and greater economic mobility. Students who transferred from Georgia's technical colleges after earning an associate's degree have transferred to Augusta University's School of Computer and Cyber Sciences and have earned prestigious Scholarship for Service awards and have become cyber professionals.
Augusta Technical College and Augusta University (through their past success) are leading the effort to create a technical college system-wide transfer pathway for all Technical sister institutions so more students can earn a Bachelor' degree in Cybersecurity and ensure that college graduates fully reflect the racial and ethnic diversity of the Georgia's Cybersecurity workforce.
