(APOLLO) The APOL1 Long-term Kidney Transplantation Outcomes Network- APOLLO Study

The purpose of this study is to test kidney donors and kidney transplant recipients to see if they have certain genes in their DNA. This gene is the apolipoprotein L1 gene (called APOL1) variants (or forms of the gene). This study is to see how these genes may affect them and their kidneys.
