People who have fecal incontinence, or involuntary leakage of stool, are eligible to participate in a research study for a treatment of fecal incontinence. The treatment,Translumbosacral Neuromodualtion Therapy (TNT), consists of using a large magnet to stimulate the outer nerves of your lower back (sacral) and upper back (lumbar) to help improve your muscles to keep stool from leaking. The study will last up to 48 weeks plus 2 weeks in screening (essentially 1 yr).
